Promotion and badge presentation last friday was cancelled. All of you were disappointed.
All of us knew something bad happened to one of our boy. Shi Hong had a bad fall and broke his elbow into 3 pieces(according to doctor). He also suffer a bone fracture on his right pinky. His condition was serious and ambulance was called immediately. His condition requires him to go for an operation to mend his elbow and finger.
The award presentation was called off after much considerations. Something happened to one of our boys and it makes no sense to continue such a happy award presentation. Due to this unforeseen incident, we also faced the problem of not having enough officers to run both side, BBQ and hospital. All your understandings will be appreciated. Shi Hong is part of 9th coy family afterall.
Anyway, i'm here to update all of us on Shi Hong's condition.
The operation took place on Tuesday which is today. He was wheeled in at 3pm and the surgery lasted until about 8pm. It was alot longer then the expected 3 hours.

For the past few days since the incident, a lot of his BB friends showed up to pay him visit. The parents were glad for the concern the BB peers showed to Shi Hong. Nontheless, I think it is still our "responsibility" to at least pay him a visit as the incident happened during BB activity. Regardless of you being in the same class F with him or not, we still belongs to BB 9th company.
The nurses were helping him over to the stretcher, pushing him to the operating theatre.

For those who would wanna pay him a visit, he will be warded at NUH, Ward 47, bed 3. He should be able to be discharged earliest this weekend. Prior to that, let's keep him in prayer for a speedy recovery! Deninth at 10:44 PM
